“We suffered flood damage to our home from Hurricane Debby. DAMEX Construction was recommended by our insurance agent even though we had no flood insurance with her.
DAMEX has been performing remediation work in SW Florida since 1982, and after hurricane damage events in Florida, "fly-by-night" contractors come out like cockroaches, so it was reassuring to know we were dealing with an experienced contractor.
Robert Yoho met with my daughter on site and with me by phone, to discuss our expectations and work scope. He then supplied an extremely detailed and itemized scope of work estimate for both mitigation and repair costs.
DAMEX performs most of the work with their own crews, and a few trusted sub-contractors (electrical, plumbing, painting). Never did I find any of them unwilling to patiently listen to and address any questions or concerns. And if I needed to speak with Robert or his field superintendent, I could always count on receiving a response promptly, if not immediately.
Overall, our experience with DAMEX was exceptional, and our costs both fair and justified.
